About the Entrance Exam

About the Entrance Exam for the Bachelor’s in Urban Design - Second Year (Third Semester) AY 2025-26

The entrance exam will be conducted in two parts. Test 1 will be conducted online and Test 2 will be conducted on CEPT University campus, Ahmedabad. The mock test for the online exam will be on 1st of July, 2025.  The mock test will allow the candidate to set up their computer before the entrance exam. The passing score for all the tests is 55 marks. The details of the tests are as below:

2nd July 2025 - Test 1

Eligibility: The applicant has to submit the application form and required documents and clear the eligibility check to be able to appear for Test 1.

Schedule: The test is online

Session 1 - MCQ – 45min

Session 2 – Writing test – 90 min

Tools and Mediums required:

laptop/desktop with web camera, stable broadband internet connection, sketch pad and pen

5th July 2025 - Test 2

Eligibility: The applicant has completed Test 1.

Schedule:

5th July 2025 – 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM BUD on campus.

Test 2 - Problem solving, Representing

Tools and Mediums required:

Problem solving and Representing

Digital - Laptop and/or Digitizer with stylus installed with required software

OR

Manual - Drafting tools, drawing mediums of your choice like pens, pencils, markers, charcoal, watercolor, etc.
