Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor’s in Urban Design - Second Year (Third Semester) AY 2025-26

The applications are invited for admission to the second year at BUD, Faculty of Planning at CEPT University from candidates who have finished the first year or are studying in the second semester as per the eligibility mentioned below. Candidates presently studying at CEPT University (CFP) may also apply, if they fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below.

Eligibility for Bachelor’s of Urban Design (BUD)

Candidates who have successfully cleared all courses/subjects for both semesters in the first year with a minimum 55% aggregate average in Bachelor’s in Architecture or Bachelor’s in Planning or an equivalent Bachelor’s Degree of at least 4 years undergraduate program after 12th from a recognized University. 

A candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and mathematics

           OR

Passed the 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject.

A candidate should have a valid NATA/JEE(main) - Paper 2(B.Arch/B Plan)/ CUET(UG)/ GUJCET / score. The candidate should have appeared in any of these tests in the year 2023 or 2024 or 2025.

  • Please note that the entire process of admissions will be online
  • In case applicants who are applying for semester III and have not received their semester II mark sheet; such students may produce a pass certificate for semester II from the registrar or equivalent authority in the University stating that the candidate has passed in all subjects of semester I and II. If admission is offered to the candidate, it will be provisional and subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.
  • Applicants who have grades or GPA or CGPA instead of marks should submit a grades/GPA/CGPA to marks conversion document/certificate along with the mark sheets.
  • Any attempt to influence the outcome of the selection process shall automatically result in the disqualification of the candidate from the entire admissions process.
  • An applicant should appear for all the stages of assessment. Absence at any stage may lead to disqualification.
  • A 10+3 diploma should be cleared from the Technical Board of Gujarat or any other state or from a college/university established under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 and will be eligible to apply for the program.
