Admission Procedure
Application Requirements
The applicant has to submit the following documents online at https://admissions.cept.ac.in/cept-adm-login.php
- Completed Application Form
- Self-attested copy of 12th mark sheet
- 1st-year self-attested mark sheet of both semesters or attendance certificate with marks or grades mentioned for the last academic year.
- The applicant should submit the score card of respective aptitude tests as a requirement of each faculty mentioned in section 2 on eligibility criteria.

Note: The applicant has to take the Test 2 depending on the course they are applying for. An applicant who wants to apply for two courses has to take two tests specific to both the courses.
Shortlisting of Candidates
Candidates will be shortlisted for the entrance exam based on the following:
- Meeting the eligibility criteria requirements mentioned in section 2 for the specific course the candidate is applying for.
- The score/result is based on the following:
- Relevant Aptitude test (NATA, UCEED or JEE)
- 10+2 exam
- 1st-semester result
About the Entrance Exam
The entrance exam will be conducted in two parts. Test 1 will be conducted online and Test 2 will be conducted on CEPT University campus, Ahmedabad. The mock test for the online exam will be on 8th of June, 2024. The mock test will allow the candidate to set up their computer before the entrance exam. The candidate has to clear Test 1 with a minimum of 55 marks to be able to appear for Test 2. The passing score for all the tests is 55 marks. The details of the tests are as below:
12th June 2024 - Test 1
Eligibility:
The applicant has to submit the application form and required documents to be able to appear for test 1.
Test 1 - MCQ - 100 marks - 09:30 am to 10:30 am
Tools and Mediums required:
laptop/desktop with web camera, stable broadband internet connection, sketch pad and pen
18th and 19th June 2024 - Test 2
Eligibility:
The applicant has to complete Test 1 with a minimum of 55 marks.
Schedule:
Test 2 - Problem solving, Representing and Writing - 100 marks - 3 hours & 30 minutes
Tools and Mediums required:
Problem solving and Representing
Digital - Laptop and/or Digitizer with stylus installed with required software
OR
Manual - Drafting tools, drawing mediums of your choice like pens, pencils, markers, charcoal, watercolor, etc.
Writing - Pen
Merit List and Admissions
- A merit list will be generated based on the results of Test 2. The applicant has to score a minimum of 55% to be able to qualify.
- The applicants will be admitted based on the merit list published.
- If two applicants have the same score in test 2, the applicant will be chosen based on the result of Test 1.
- Based on the availability of seats and the acceptance status of applicants, the admission committee, at its discretion may offer admission further, in the order of a consolidated merit list.
