Selection Procedure
Selection criteria:
50% Weightage would be given to the Results in Diploma/ Two Semesters of BE. The Percentage of marks in all semesters in 3 year diploma/ two semesters or 1st in BE (civil or Equivalent) would be considered for this criteria. In case of GPA an appropriate conversion would be done to convert GPA in percentage.50% Weightage would be given to Personal Interview. The personal interview would be conducted by a Panel of three faculty members.
Interview (in person)
- The candidates need to appear for personal interview.
- The interview shall commence from 10:00 am at Faculty of Technology building, CEPT University on 6th July 2019 Students are requested to report by 9:30 am on the day of the interview.
- The selected students will need to submit the NOC from their parent institute/university by 10th July 2019 10:30 am.
Important Notes:
- Any attempt to influence the outcome of the selection process shall automatically result in the disqualification of the candidate from the entire admissions process.
- Candidates who have not yet received their second semester results should get a certificate from the registrar or equivalent of their University stating the candidate has passed in all the subjects in semester I and II. Candidates shall produce this certificate no later than the reporting time on the date of interview.
- Admissions will be offered to deserving candidates based on minimum performance criteria in interview. Decision of the panelists and the admissions committee shall be final and binding.
- Candidates who have grades or GPA or CGPA instead of marks should produce a grades/GPA/CGPA to marks conversion signed by an authorized representative of the University or a certificate stating that their grades are equivalent to an aggregate average of 50% or more.
- Candidates failing to report for the interview at designated time shall forfeit their eligibility for the interview.
- The onus of completing all formalities with their institute including but not limited to transcripts, clearance certificate, no-objection certificate shall remain with the candidate.
