A: There is no provision of dual degree programs currently at CEPT University. However, the University allows you to take up to 15% credits in any other program offered by other faculties (Architecture, Planning, Design and Management) at the university.

A: This program follows the studio based teaching and learning pedagogy which is the unique method in engineering education. It is the only program in India where architects can do their masters in Structural Engineering.  It focuses on fostering education in the wide array of structural engineering with varied materials such as reinforced concrete, steel, bamboo, timber or stone or maybe with the typology such as buildings, silos, chimneys, water tanks, ports and later delves into complex phenomena of structural repairs and retrofitting, computational structural design and bridge design. The studios are supported with related courses and electives that act as fillers in this problem-solving engaging pedagogy. In a nutshell, the program equips engineers and architects with the sound principles of engineering & design in developing structural systems in building structures. A: GATE qualification is not compulsory while applying for University seats in the Master of Technology programs at CEPT University

A: A candidate, if currently in last year of the course, can apply with a bonafide letter from the College / University that he/she is currently registered with. The letter should mention the status of the student studying in the final year along with the assurance of completion of all the formalities to avail the bachelor’s degree before the date of commencement of the semester at CEPT University.

All candidates are given provisional admission. They are required to submit the original mark sheets from the Institute/University along with the migration certificate, and complete all formalities related to their previous degree, before the commencement of the first semester at CEPT University (dates will be updated on the CEPT University website). Failure to do this will result in cancellation of admission.

A: During their tenure at CEPT, students are expected to work individually on the assigned projects in their studios and thereby are exposed to professional scenario right from day one of this program. As a result, graduates from this program are preferred candidates for design firms (national/international) related to bridges, industrial structures, marine structures and buildings. They have also been successful in starting their own practice and establishing a consultancy firm.

A: The students of the MSED program are placed in S3M consultants, AtkinsRealis, Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Private Limited, NK Shah consulting engineers, Translink Infrastructure Consultants, B+AC Structural Engineers, Buro Happold, SID consultants, Sterling consultants and many more in the past two years.

A: Each faculty at CEPT University has its own placement office and is supported by the placement coordinator.

Apart from merit and means based scholarships, the Students Service Office circulates the information related to requirement of assistants periodically, either as Teaching Assistant, Academic Associate, at Library, during exhibition and at Workshop etc that are available on the hourly basis.
