Application Information & Requirements
1. Completed application form.
2. Self-attested Degree certificates and mark sheets for all semesters. Applicants receiving grades as GPA/CGPA need to send the document indicating the relationship of GPA/CGPA with percentage marks as per their university/ institute along with all the mark sheets. Applicants studying in the final semester need to submit all the mark sheets till the penultimate semester.
3. Curriculum Vitae.
4. Academic and/ or Professional experience certificates.
5. References from two referees who know you well. (Online reference letters to be filled and sent directly by the referee)
6. Portfolio: Attach 10 pages of A4 size in landscape format as a single PDF file. File size should be at most 20 MB and 150 dpi maximum. Please note that pages after the first 10 pages in your portfolio, as specified, may not be considered for evaluation. Remember that portfolio reviewers will not zoom in to review your portfolios and arrange your pages accordingly. (See below for details)
*Note:
The applicant receiving grades as GPA/CGPA need to send the document indicating the relationship of GPA/CGPA with percentage marks as per their university/institute along with all the mark sheets. This is a must for your application to be processed.
If the applicant is studying in the final semester, they must submit all the mark sheets until the penultimate semester.
All applications received will be scrutinised based on information provided/uploaded in the application forms. This scrutiny is to check if the applicant meets the eligibility criteria and to calculate academic performance based on CGPA. Only those applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and pass the scrutiny will be considered for further stages of the admissions process.
Evaluation Process
National Students
The entire evaluation process shall be done in two stages. It is mandatory to appear for all the evaluation stages of the admission process. Admission Committee, appointed by the Faculty of Design, each applicant will be evaluated for the following parameters.

Stage 1 – Eligibility Check and Shortlist
All applications will be screened at this stage in the following manner:
An expert evaluation committee will be set up by the program to assess documents and portfolios to shortlist eligible candidates for the program.

| a | Academic transcripts | Academic performance is counted based on the percentage of marks achieved by the applicant. |
| b | Work Experience | A candidate’s work experience will be assessed based on the details given in the application form. Internships as part of the course work for credits or semester prerequisites will not be counted for total accumulated work experience. |

c | The portfolio is a synopsis of one’s creative work. As a visual essay, it tells the story of a person’s interests, skills, and development over time. It should include projects that best express one's visual, spatial, and constructional abilities. | The portfolio should contain samples of academic work, professional work, thesis report, seminar, research paper, internship report and independent work. Portfolio in digital format must be uploaded as a single PDF file no longer than 25 MB. Work expressing abilities to handle site and context Work that demonstrates: manual and digital proficiency in terms of software, representation tools, and mediums. Work that demonstrates: any workshop-based outputs in the form of models, prototypes, material explorations, hands-on work, etc. Projects with professional engagement in terms of real-life problems/ opportunities. Applicants from non-design backgrounds may include work relevant to their domain, whilst showcasing interest, intent or engagement with innovation, research, sustainability, and /or creative processes.

The portfolio for non-design background applicants will be evaluated based on work quality and relevance to the applied program, in consideration to the work relevant to their domain and that showcases interest, intent or engagement with innovation, research, sustainability, and /or creative processes.
*Note: If the final semester results are pending, then percentages till the penultimate semester will be considered.
** This complete proportion of the marks shall only be given to applicants with a minimum of 12 months of domain-related work experience supported by a certificate. This experience shall exclude the period of mandatory academic internship. The cut-off for counting work experience shall be considered as the last date of submission of applications.
Criteria for Portfolio is given below:

Stage 2
All candidates will have to appear in person for the CEPT PG Test at the nearest available center and subsequent online interview. The final merit list for the seats will be prepared based on the total marks obtained until Stage 2.

International/Foreign Students
The entire evaluation process shall be done in two stages. It is mandatory to appear for all the evaluation stages of the admission process. Admission Committee, appointed by the Faculty of Design, each applicant will be evaluated for the following parameters.

Sponsored Candidates

The candidates will be required to submit the following:
- Sponsorship Certificate and/or No Objection certificate from the last employer
- Proof of Employment that may include the following:
1. Appointment letter
2. Form No. 16 for the last two years from the last employer
3. Experience certificate(s) indicating minimum experience of 5 years
4. Any other proof as deemed necessary by the committee.
A separate merit list will be prepared for seats of sponsored candidates. In the absence of enough eligible applications or applicants qualified in the admission procedure, the seats will be filled with other eligible and qualified candidates.
