All applicants for the MFD program in the general category shall have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and reserved category shall have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in a qualifying degree (or equivalent) from a UGC recognised University / Institution in their undergraduate program.

Qualifying Certificates (Degree / Diploma)

Applicants with undergraduate degree/diploma (4 years or more) such as Bachelors in Architecture / Bachelors in Urban Design / Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Product Design / Diploma in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Product Design / Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Environmental, Plastic or Polymer Engineering are eligible. 

Applicants having other undergraduate qualifications apart from those mentioned above are welcome to apply provided that their program is considered equivalent to a Degree Program by the Equivalence Committee of CEPT University.

General Eligibility

1. All Applicants for the MFD program in the general category shall have a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks in a qualifying degree (or equivalent) from a recognized University / Institution in their undergraduate program.

2. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of overall experience as of the last date of application of the year in which the application is made, with at least two years in service of the organisation sponsoring his study. This organisation can be academic, industrial, or research-based in the relevant field for which the candidate is seeking admission.
