A: In the mandatory coursework, the subjects that are covered are: energy and environment issues, theory and best practices for achieving energy efficient building performance, energy and lighting simulations, physical measurement and evaluation buildings, building science, passive cooling, HVAC systems, lighting and daylighting systems, renewable energy systems, communication for energy efficiency. Additional elective coursework covers: introduction to scripting and computer programming, research design, and participation in design competitions. Students also have the opportunity to enroll in hundreds of other elective courses offered at CEPT University as well as the courses offered in Summer and Winter Schools.
