A: In the mandatory coursework, the subjects that are covered are: 3 semester studios are Construction Project Formulation and Appraisal, Construction Project Execution Monitoring and Control, Integrated Construction Practices. Mandatory Lecture and Elective Courses are: Construction Economics and Finance, Computer Applications in Construction, Advance Construction practices, Construction Contracts, Construction Safety Practices, Lean construction: tools and practices, Communications skills and writing course,   Strategic management in Construction, Research Methods, Quantitative Techniques, ERP for Construction, Dynamics of Real Estate, Construction Allied Law, PPP for Infrastructure Projects, Digital tools for Project Management. A: There is no provision of dual degree programs currently at CEPT University. However, the University allows you to take up to 15% credits in any other program offered by other faculties (Architecture, Planning, Design and Management) at the university.

A: Applicants for the M.Tech. program in the general category shall have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks, and those in the reserved categories shall have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in qualifying degree (or equivalent) from a recognized University / Institution. Applicant shall have cleared XII Examination in the science stream.

BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Environmental Engineering, and Architecture and Urban Design (Architecture and Urban Design- minimum 5  years) from a recognized University/ Institution.

A: Yes, candidates currently working can apply for the program. The application criteria, eligibility criteria and other relevant information can be checked as specified in program website.

A: GATE qualification is not compulsory while applying in the Master of Technology programs at CEPT University.

A: No, there are separate forms for all Master’s programs. If a student wishes to apply for M-Tech in Construction Engineering Management program, he/she will have to fill a program related form that is available on Admissions portal.

Note: If a student wishes to apply for other programs also, he/she will have to fill their forms separately.

A: A student, if currently in last year, can apply. However, all candidates are given provisional admission. They are required to submit the original mark sheets from the Institute/University along with the migration certificate, and complete all formalities related to their previous degree before the commencement of the first semester at CEPT University (dates will be updated on the CEPT University website). Failure to do this will result in cancellation of admission.

A: The conversion certificate of grade points into the percentage form can be availed from the university in which an applicant is studying/ registered with. This certificate has to be uploaded with the grade reports and other relevant documents.

Cumulative average result of all years of the qualifying program shall be considered as minimum percentage requirement under the eligibility criteria.
