1. The entire application process will be undertaken through online mode.
2. Academic Transcripts: Self-attested Degree certificates, and mark sheets for all semesters. Applicants receiving grades as GPA/CGPA need to send the document indicating the relationship of GPA/CGPA with percentage marks as per their university/ institute along with all the mark sheets. Applicants studying in the final semester need to submit all the mark sheets till the penultimate semester.
3. Caste Certificate if applicable: The applicants belonging to reserved/under-privileged category (ies) must submit the certificates of proof issued from relevant government authorities.
4. Work Experience Certificates: Applicant’s work experience only after graduation is noted in months. The work experience should be supported by relevant proofs in the application form e.g. Experience certificate.
5. Portfolio/Creative work or Professional work: A portfolio is required to be submitted for applicants of the MUD program in two formats – 1. hard copy and 2. digital format (both must contain the same information). The portfolio may contain up to a maximum of 12 numbers of A4 size pages of design content. Please note that your portfolio may not be reviewed if the submission is more than 12 pages. The title page and table of contents, if included, shall not be counted towards the 12 pages of content. The portfolio should showcase the best work and will be judged on both content and overall design. Applicants must clearly identify the material that is not entirely theirs by providing due credits. The Portfolio must be saved as a single file in PDF format and submitted. The file size must be no larger than 12MB. The hard copy of the portfolio of A4 sheets shall be unbound separate A4 sheets and sent to the mailing address by the application deadline.
6. Statement of purpose with the word limit as specified in the application form. (See below for details)
7. References from two referees who know you well. (Online reference letters to be filled and sent directly by the referee as per instruction in application form)
8. International Candidates: The mode of teaching for the program is in English. The proficiency in English language should be good. The International candidates should rate their proficiency in English language at the scale of 1 to 5 in the application form.
9. CEPT PG Test will be conducted in person for all PG programs for national applicants. The CEPT PG test will be conducted at different centres in cities as per announcement on website. CEPT PG Test is mandatory to qualify for merit list.
10. GRE Test: International/Foreign Applicants will have to submit the valid GRE Score. GRE score shall be considered valid if taken within the last 2 years or as per the validity in the scorecard. The GRE score should be supported by appropriate documents.
The entire evaluation process is online. It is mandatory to appear for all the stages of evaluation of the admission process. Evaluation shall be done in three stages
Stage 1 – Eligibility Check
All applications will be screened at this stage in the following manner:

Stage 2 – Prequalifying Stage: Shortlisting
This stage includes shortlisting of applicants qualifying for Stage -3. Note that all eligible applicants will not automatically qualify to reach Stage - 3. The shortlisting will be based on a Shortlist prepared using criteria mentioned in the table.
CEPT PG test is mandatory to qualify for Stage – 3 for national applicants.
GRE Test is mandatory to qualify for Stage-3 for international applicants.
As a conclusion of Stage 2 a merit list of qualifying applicants will be prepared by applying the cut-off point which will be set as the ratio of available seats to the number of applicants to be evaluated in Stage 3 at a minimum 1:3 or a suitable ratio as decided by the University.
Stage 3 – Academic assessment
Stage 3 will be an internal academic assessment on the following criteria by the Admission Committee appointed by the Faculty of Planning for the shortlisted candidates at end of Stage -2.

The consolidated common merit order of the applicants evaluated for Stage II and Stage III shall be displayed on the CEPT website.
Based on the number of available seats, CEPT University will offer admission to candidates as per the merit order in the merit list. The candidate will be asked to deposit the fee and secure the admission by the date given in the offer letter. After this date CEPT University at its discretion may offer the admission to candidates in the waitlists in the order of merit as per the availability of seats.
